Averbuch Named VP of Engineering at Placed
SEATTLE, WA, February 4, 2015 - Placed Inc., the leader in location-driven insights and ad intelligence, today announced that it has named Aaron Averbuch VP of Engineering.
The announcement, effective immediately, was made by David Shim, Founder & CEO of Placed.
Averbuch will be responsible for leading Placed's engineering team and will hold responsibility for all of Placed's software development and delivery across the company's mobile and cloud infrastructures.
Bringing a wealth of experience to the team, Averbuch was most recently SVP of Product and Technology for digital media holding company CPXi, leading the engineering and product efforts across all parts of the ad-tech ecosystem. Prior to that, he served as CTO for demand-side buying platform AdReady (prior to their acquisition by CPXi), as Senior Software Development Manager for Cisco Systems and was a Lead Software Design Engineer for Microsoft.

Averbuch holds a Masters in Computer Science and a Bachelors in Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
