Sewichi Continues Focus on Analytics with Recent Additions
Seattle – June 9, 2011 – Mobile analytics startup Sewichi, Inc. today announced two additions to its team that further strengthens its position in the fledgling mobile analytics space. "Adding Paul Sutter and Weilie Yi reinforces our efforts to establish a new standard in mobile measurement," said David Shim, Founder and CEO of Sewichi.
Paul Sutter joined Sewichi as a member of its Advisory Board. Paul most recently co-founded Quantcast, the leader in audience measurement and reach. In less than 5 years, Quantcast has grown to process billions of records a day across millions of sites to drive actionable audience insights for publishers and marketers. Placed will leverage Paul’s experience building Quantcast to help it set a new standard in mobile analytics.

Weilie Yi also joined Placed as its Principal Scientist. He will lead efforts in finding signal in the noise that is mobile data. Prior to Placed, Weilie was at Kiha Software where he worked on semantic search and location modeling. Before that Weilie was on Microsoft Bing’s core relevance team focusing on user intent understanding and search result optimization."The approach that Placed is taking in the mobile analytics space is quite novel compared to what is currently in market," said Weillie Yi.
